我单位是广东省蚕业技术推广中心，属下管辖全省12家蚕种场，年产蚕种150万~200万张普通种，并生产原种3万张，在广东英德市建有蚕种生产基地，主营蚕种品牌是“天勤”牌，加上原有“石牌”驰名品牌蚕种，并可提供全省管辖下多家蚕种场蚕种。

蚕种品种有：9芙*7湘（俗称：两广二号）两广当家品种，特别适合两广地区饲养，耐高温、多湿、茧型重。       

Guangdong Serigene Sericultural Company Ltd. is a branch company of Guangdong Silk corporation (Group). It was founded in October 2000, and now has 17 sub-units all over Guangdong Province including Guangdong Provincial Sericultural Extension Center. The company has been engaged in silkworm breeding, production and supply of silkworm P3,P2,P1, and F1 hybrid eggs, sericultural research and development, silkworm egg quality control and testing, sericultual technical extension, silk marketing mulberry fertilizer research and production, as well as other agricultural related business. The company employs more than 600 people, and produces more than 1.5 million cards of silkworm eggs per year. The production and supply of its silkworm P3 and P2 eggs occupy more 98% market in Guangdong, and its supply of F1 eggs is more than 80% in Guangdong. Its products are also popular in a dozen countries in Southeast Asia. The company has been regarded as the biggest silkworm egg supplier in Guangdong and one of the biggest sericultual companies in China.
